When Hope Eludes You… Turn to Faith

Hopelessness is that void place where you feel like you can’t go on—not because you don’t deeply desire to live, but because you know inside that you’re not actually living.

You’re performing, playing a role, acting out a version of you that feels fake and    outdated—and you hate it. You hate the part you’re playing… but you also hate the alternative of embracing the rest of you that’s messy and dangerous and unfiltered, the totality of you not only shared and seen but also the scraps you’ve rejected.

This is the trap when you haven’t learned how to embrace your authenticity and have labeled your truth as “wrong,” “too much,” or “not enough.” Instead, you relegated your fullness to the shadows where it lives—cut off from love and cut off from life.

When you’re hopeless you feel stuck because you are: not between a rock and a hard place, but between a false self that’s dying on the inside and a true self you haven’t yet learned to love, or maybe even acknowledge.

The only way out? Is in. Within. Because you will never be able to rearrange your external life enough to make up for the lack of fulfillment that comes from not being true to yourself. You can put lipstick on a pig and it’s still a pig.

Real self-love isn’t sharing a meme. It’s not a mantra written on your mirror.  It’s a deep reckoning and learning to feel safety in your body in relation to who you are and your deepest desires. I know this because I spent years saying “I love myself” before I actually understood what that meant.  It means loving even the parts of me I was taught to hate, or hide. It means realizing that my God-given traits and predilections aren’t bad—they’re just nature and nurture expressing themselves through me.

This is shadow work, the liberating—if admittedly intimidating—task of dragging the exiled parts of you up from the depths, looking at them without flinching, and asking:

  • What is this part of me trying to say? What does it need?
  • Is this aspect of myself serving me? If not, could it?
  • Is this part of who I am aligned with my highest Truth? If not, how can I integrate its lessons into my life and let the rest go?

We can’t selectively love parts of ourselves and expect to feel whole; the only way to truly feel free is to expand ever-inward, into the infinity of our depths.

And this happens not by finding a better role to play but by dropping any and all acts completely. When you do this and begin to live led by your own center EVERYTHING begins to shift and you become magnetic, attractive to all that matches your resonance of fullness, completeness, enoughness.

This is the union we ultimately seek. This is living in alignment with the divine within us. This is the spiritual path available to us all if we just choose to believe that nothing was planted in us without purpose.

So if you’re feeling stuck, frozen, empty… don’t give up. Hope may feel distant and disempowering—like you’re waiting on a fairy godmother to make things right between you and the world— but faith? It’s always available:

     Faith in your own process.
Faith that turning inward—toward the voice of God within you—is what will carry you forward.
Faith that your confusion and pain and malaise are simply signs pointing you home to truth.
Faith that you have a purpose, and it begins with joy.

My work as a healer and guide? It’s not to give you answers, but to remind you how to listen within and find there the resolution for the questions that keep you up at night and playing small. I teach you how to find your own compass for truth and trust it… because that is where authentic power lives.

We don’t need a world full of people creating mindlessly from someone else’s idea of “right,” but one where people manifest from their own divine authority and with clarity, intention, and discernment.

And, yes, this world will look very different from the world we’ve built on obedience to black and white thinking, cut off entirely from the God we’ve been taught to fear. And, yes, society as we know it is crumbling, because it’s built on disconnection from Self, from Source, from the light of truth that lives inside us.

And, yes, in this void space, this time between time, it can feel hopeless and as if the magic isn’t happening or the change not coming… but have faith and remember that the path forward? It leads within and is walked at first with quiet, unseen steps.

Everywhere, within the hearts of humans—that still, warm, radiant place where truth lives and breathes—there is dawning a new understanding of who we are, in all our fullness and messiness and ambiguity.

We recreate the world not by waiting and hoping, but by having faith that if we can muster the courage to recreate ourselves in the image of Truth… the rest will follow.
