Embracing Shadow, Light, and the Truth Beyond Duality
Our innocence can’t be reclaimed by traveling back in time to a moment before any mistakes were made—this mortal experience ensures that. Instead, we are tasked with creating space within ourselves so that our eternal innocence can be recognized and given its proper place in our self-understanding.
Innocence is not about flawlessness of deed, but is born of the understanding that if creation and destruction rightly coexist in this universe then there must be divine order to the shadow that lives within us.
Innocence is a state of mind that asks us to see ourselves clearly, not so that we can judge and relegate parts of ourselves to the grasping denial of the unconscious, but so that we can question the presence of lower vibrations and their purpose in the universal plan of which we are a part.
Innocence cannot be produced from feeling shame or anger for what is, but by properly identifying ourselves as that which is beyond the thoughts that pass in and out of mind and before and after the sum of all our life’s actions.
Innocence is impossible to arrive at by questing for perfection in this human incarnation, but it is always accessible by sitting back in our minds and observing the big picture of infinite choices with which we are gifted by each breath.
Our innocence can never be stolen from us by the illusion of duality and the machinations of death. Instead, it is renewed again and again in the revelation of our self-image as S/he who is aware of dark and light alike as mere (r)evolutionary points in our collective transcendence of all that is not love.
